Welcome to mikekeucher.com, Mike Keucher's online residence. This
is a good place to be! Here you will find a healthy balance of the
serious and the whimsical.
You can read his musings and thoughts by clicking the links to his most
recent blog posts to the right. You can also access the blog directly
by clicking the "Blog" link to the left.
During his time at IU, Mike became very involved at his home parish,
St. Charles Borroemo.
There he served as a Confirmation catechist, an elementary school catechist,
and a volunteer youth minister (sharing duties with other volunteers).
Mike continued to work with the
Summer Institute and Extended Care programs, which he became involved
even before high school.
Currently, Mike is a Catholic seminarian of the
Archdiocese of Indianapolis and is in his
first year of philosophy at St.
Meinrad Seminary. He loves it and is very thankful for everyone
who supports him through prayer.
This Website
The title of this website began as the title to my
blog. Please read my
biography page to see why I selected it.
The photo at the top banner image on the top of every page is of course
composed of two parts. The very right is a photo of
St. Meinrad Seminary & Archabbey.
The rest of the banner image is a photo of the fresco that was inside Holy
Trinity Catholic Church, one of the recently closed parishes in Cleveland.
It was painted by Romeo Celleghin, the "Michelangelo of Cleveland". I
chose it largely to keep it alive and because it beautifully illustrates the
communion of the saints. Read more about it, and see a larger photo,
here.
The photos you see on the left-hand side of every page of this website are
of people of particular importance to me. I outline why they are
present on every page on the Saints & Devotions
page.
Thanks for your visit. Sorry to say, but my website counter on the
bottom of each page is currently on strike. I'm hoping it will give in soon.
Let me know if you have suggestions of anything I can add to this website.
I am looking to expand.
